My Sugar High

When I was younger I was always finding sick or injured animals, along with my sister, and caring for them. I also always had a pet or 10 in our house even though dad couldn‘t stand it!!

I found out about sugar gliders while working in a pet store before they were legal to own in Utah. A married couple would come in often to buy meal worms, so one day I asked what they were buying them for and they showed me the cutest little things in the world. I was hooked! After 3 years of working there and seeing their cute sugar gliders, they finally became legal to own with out having to have a permit. So I told Rebecca who was interested in them and we looked into getting a pair each. Soon after that we both became addicted and decided to become breeders in Utah since there weren’t any. I love playing and holding all my gliders and watching their babies grow.
I have been married for 7 years to Darin, the man of my dreams, and we have 2 beautiful kids. Tanner (5) and Savannah (2). Tanner loves the sugar gliders. He always has to have one sit on his arm when I am holding them.
